Hawaiian Luau
On Thursday night my Dad booked us all to go to a traditional Hawaiian luau. We have done luaus in the past, but Mathis and Matison had never been to one. This was by far the nicest luau that we have ever been to. It was right on the beach, and we got to watch the sunset.
If you ever go to Maui, The Feast at Lele is the absolute best luau!! As we walked in we were each handed a flower lei and a drink. We had four meal courses that reflected the following places: Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. They did a dance for each course, and we were served at the table instead of having to wait in line at a buffet. The service, entertainment, food and drinks were all superb!
Shout out to my sweet and generous friend Hannah for letting me borrow this dress :)
Mai Tai = my drink of choice in Hawaii :)

Thanks again Dad and Mom!
This was a night we could not have afforded on our own. :)
I love love love this picture of my parents and my brother.
Love was definitely in the air between my parents and...
...even my niece! Allison managed to meet a friend at the next table. :)
Very talented dancers
Eating and Shopping
We ate a few meals in our condo, but we also went to a few fun restaurants in downtown Lahaina. My favorite is Bubba Gumps. LOVE the movie, love the restaurant!

Another spectacular sunset...
We did a lot of fun shopping, and my dad bought me a little Honu to place on my desk at work.
On Friday when my Mom and I were out walking we noticed that a craft fair was taking place at one of the nearby hotels. We went back later that afternoon to check it out -- there were a lot of beautiful pieces!
And we spent our last morning eating breakfast at Cheeseburger's in Paradise!
"Paradise Served Daily" Yep... sounds about right!
The view from the restaurant.
As you can tell we had such a great trip. We are so blessed to have been able to have done this trip as a family -- there were a lot of obstacles to making it happen, but I'm so happy it finally came together! Tomorrow I'll be back with the trip "outtakes". :)
