- Mathis and I were married on May 27, 2007. We currently live in Christiansburg, Virginia although we will always consider ourselves to be Texans! I am currently working on my Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology at Radford University, and Mathis is a Marriage & Family Doctoral Student at Virginia Tech. We are the PROUD parents of two amazing boxers, Gracie and Carter! :) We love running, eating local food, drinking good wine, traveling (when we can!) and spending time with our great community of friends.
